Pippin: From Patient to Hero

Pippin, a beautiful five-year-old domestic shorthair feline received a lifesaving blood transfusion when he came to Animal Emergency Hospital Volusia for anemia.

After a successful recovery, his grateful owners John and Robin Marsh have decided to pay it forward by having Pippin become a blood donor to help other pets in need.

As a 24-hour emergency animal hospital, we rely on blood donations from both cats and dogs to help other pets in critical moments. We are currently experiencing a blood shortage, so we are so appreciative of all of our blood donors and looking for even more qualified pets.
