Paying for Your Pet’s Emergency Care
FEES & PAYMENTS
As is customary for emergency care, payment is due at the time of service. Aside from the examination fee, if diagnostic tests or treatment is recommended, you will be presented with a treatment plan and associated costs. We do our very best to provide you with all of the information you need to make a decision that is right for you and your pet. Please do not hesitate to ask questions if there is anything that you do not understand. We know this can be a stressful experience and want you to feel as though you are well equipped to do what is best.
Emergency hospitals typically have higher fees than general, day time practices due to the additional equipment, 24/7 overhead, and emergency training. If you are concerned about being able to manage costs in an emergency, we recommend you look into pet insurance before you need it. There are many great options available today with a variety of coverage levels. For your convenience, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, approved checks, and cash. We also have financing options available including CareCredit and Scratchpay for qualified applicants.
