Communication & Collaboration
FOR OPTIMAL OUTCOMES

As an emergency hospital, our goal is to support you as the primary care veterinarian. That means educating our clients about the kind of care we provide (we do not offer routine or wellness services), ensuring they have a relationship with a primary care veterinarian, and communicating with that clinic about their patient’s visit.

We ask all clients to list their veterinarian on their pet’s intake form, allowing us to fax or email a discharge summary. We keep detailed medical records for every patient we see, and we always encourage clients to follow up with their primary care veterinarian after their visit. We believe that by working closely with primary care veterinarians, we can coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
