In 2013 a sweet rescue dog named Rusty needed two life-saving surgeries. Second Chance Rescue, a non-profit no-kill rescue was accepting donations to cover the mounting medical costs. Animal Emergency Hospital Volusia’s Dr. Diane Johnson even donated her time and provided K-laser treatment to Rusy at no cost.
